Air Pollution Indoors: What Causes It?
Odors and Gases - These things are undoubtedly share a big
contribution to air pollution. Believe it or not, routines tasks such as
spraying air deodorizer or spraying perfume releases gas to the air. Majority
of the homeowners are not actually conscious that the home cleaning products
they are using help to contribute the amount of pollution in their homes.
Varnishes, air fresheners and even paint not only give off odors, but gases and
noxious fumes as well which contributes to indoor air pollution. Moreover,
chemical vapors are also released to the air as you use heaters and stoves.
Pesticides, cigarettes or cigars and perfumes all add to air pollution, too.
But the said things above would be eliminated if you are going to use asthma air conditioner filter.
Air Particles - Another cause of indoor pollution is
particles that float to the air. Each time people walk in and out of the house,
pollens are actually carried in. Pollen can be present on skin on shoes or the
hair. Having it in the house can lead to a serious allergy; this is truer if
people living in the house have allergic reaction to pollen. This is the same
thing when it comes to dust, dirt and fiber, which all comes from fixtures
inside the house. Some of the most common types of factors that lead to air
pollution are particles coming from insulation and pets. This can be
transported from one area to another, depending upon the type of insulation.
All these pollutants can cause health problems inside your home.
Biological Hazards - This includes fungus, dust mites, mold,
yeast and other microorganisms that originally came from bacteria and viruses.
They are commonly found in warm, moist areas. The commonest place to find these
is when we are sleeping. These contaminants are a sign of a place which is not
cleaned regularly and maintained very well most of the time. It may be
impossible or very difficult to disinfect if the problem persists too long. If
you don't want to deal with these things and avoid allergy, better use A/C air conditioner filter for allergies.
